Willam Taylor White.A Whitfield County firefighter was arrested this weekend at the Whitfield County Fire Department after a child came forward to report she had been molested.
William Taylor White, 34, is charged with five counts of child molestation and four counts of sexual battery of a child under the age of 16.
White is currently being held at Whitfield County jail without bond.
On Feb. 7, the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) initiated an investigation after the grandmother of a female juvenile brought the child to the sheriff’s office and reported that she had been molested.
WCSO was able to identify at least two more victims believed to have been molested by the same suspect. One of the victims did not know the other victims, but they all had similar stories of being molested by White.
The children were ages 10, 11 and 12 at the time of the incidents, which reportedly started in 2012 and lasted until at least 2015.
Investigators believe there may be additional child victims of White.
