The Ooltewah Harrison Education Foundation invites the public to ring in the new year at its inaugural New Year’s Eve Gala. The Dec. 31 fundraiser benefits the education foundation in its continued mission to help area schools, said Director Miranda Perez.
Beginning with a cocktail hour and silent auction, the event features a three-course meal by Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, dancing, a DJ and doughnuts and coffee during the midnight countdown. As guests leave, they will each receive a post-New Year’s “survival kit.”
“Not everyone wants to go into the city for a ball drop, so this is a great way to ring in the new year for a good cause,” Perez said. “It will be a really unique experience. You really can’t go out for $150 each on New Year’s and get an experience like this.”
The gala begins at the Embassy Suites located at 2321 Lifestyle Way at 7:30 p.m. Individual tickets cost $150 per person. Company sponsor tables are available for $2,000.
