Tech Goes Home nonprofit uses technology as a tool to improve Scenic City residents’ quality of life

Their Mission: Tech Goes Home (TGH) is a project of The Enterprise Center, which has a mission to "unite people, organizations and technology to build an advanced, inclusive future for our community," says Deb Socia, CEO for the center. Program Director Sammy Lowdermilk adds that TGH is about doing "anything to improve quality of life through technology," including offering digital-literacy training in which attendees learn how to take advantage of digital resources in vital areas including health care (telehealth) and finance. "If you don't know how to use tech," Lowdermilk says, "it's tough to get what you need."
