Letter to the editors: Tennessee bills threaten LGBTQ+ equality
We, the residents of Tennessee, are witnessing hate-filled bills in the General Assembly of Tennessee.

Washington D.C. is a roiling cesspool of unparalleled corruption that reinforces the adage, "The more you get away with, the more you try."

President Trump endorsed the wrong candidate in Georgia's 14th District special election. Clay Fuller is not MAGA — he's a RINO with ties to Democrats and gun-control advocates. He even donated to a Democrat gun-grabber during Trump's presidency. Fuller is backed by establishment insiders and lobbyists, not the grassroots. Colton Moore is the only true America First option.

Chattanooga has a bad habit of tearing down our history. Can you reimagine Engel Stadium as a beautiful park and cafe?

Tr'mp has no "U". PUblic servants do. SUpreme CoUrt and our CoUrts do. Tr'mp is concerned with only that which increases his power and personal wealth. Tr'mp is not interested in serving you, the American public.

There is a common characteristic shared by those subject to this administration's punitive actions. That is the color of their skin.

I attended the JFK lunch to hear Jerri Green speak about her run to be governor of Tennessee. I was impressed beyond my wildest expectation.

Free Press (02/24) admitted violent crime is dramatically lower starting back under Biden. Will that stop Republican fearmongering? Not.

I cried as I read the article about the Republican bills targeting the LGBTQ+ residents of our state. It seems the authors of these bills do not see their queer constituents as deserving of the same rights as the rest of residents.

To paraphrase County Mayor Weston Wamp, I guess we are all radical leftist environmental extremists now.
