Case: I don’t know how they found out trout like to eat peaches

I have never been to Paris, France. I do know, however, that it is a place known for its fine dining.

Hey, little girl. This letter is kind of late to you, but I hope you don't mind too much.

A couple years ago, I wrote a little sermon for our time here together in "Guns & Cornbread" about "the way it used to be" when it came to the outdoors.

In order to be honest and keep you apprised of what is going on outdoors, sometimes we have to talk about controversial things. It's just way the world is.

The kid is shivering (as usual) as he stands motionless, listening to a small pack of beagle hounds as they give voice on the track of a cottontail rabbit.

Because I was very curious about this, I did some intensive research (which means I Googled it).

Sometimes the irony of me being in this place is slightly overwhelming. I mean, it is huge and garish and loud and bright and glittery and almost otherworldly.

Winter is the time to have a lot of fun stalking those little varmints that drove you crazy in the fall, back when you were minding your own business in the deer stand.

Let's see what the next couple months have in store.
