For some sports enthusiasts, fandom is like a religion. Andrew Bresee, known by many as "Breezy," says the Chattanooga Football Club (CFC) is his church. He and his wife do not plan any vacations during soccer season until the CFC schedule has been released — it's that serious. Breezy is a Chattahooligan, one of many devoted fans of the CFC, and across the Chattanooga area, you'll find sports fans just like him who are putting their faith in a team.

It's that time of year again when Chatter presents its annual Date Book, a calendar featuring a plethora of philanthropic events so you can join the community in celebrating and uplifting important causes. From charity runs to galas to golf tournaments to parties to festivals, there are plenty of ways to kick back while giving back. So here's a year's worth of events to keep on your radar.

No one ever said you couldn't drink wine and enjoy fashion all while fundraising. Wine, Women & Shoes encompasses it all.

Whether you're looking for a full-size, $365 University of Tennessee football helmet with a Power T on the side or a $28 orange belt to highlight your waistline, local retail stores have everything you need.

Ever wondered what it's like to enjoy a game from the best seats a stadium has to offer?

Chattanooga artist Randy Griffith enjoys painting and creating art with oils and watercolors, and he especially likes featuring Chattanooga landscapes and landmarks in his art.

Before superstars like Michael Jackson, Usher, Madonna, Prince and others headlined the Super Bowl halftime show, it was college marching bands who entertained the nation during professional football's biggest game.

When you look through your closet in the morning for something to wear for the day, if all you see is the logo of your favorite sports team plastered on each item hanging there, you might be a "superfan." Or maybe your coworkers keep a respectful distance after your team's heartbreaking loss, afraid of your guaranteed crankiness while trying to give you the space to recover…

If you enjoy belting out your favorite hip-hop track and aspire to design towering urban skyscrapers, you may be in luck. While hip hop and architecture might seem like an unlikely combination, they are proving to bring a compelling blend of talents, passions and career paths. There's even a Hip Hop Architecture Camp (HHAC) that intends to showcase how these separate worlds can come together.

Watching a football game is much more enjoyable with a crowd, and crowds are easy to come by on game days at Chattanooga bars that are famous for their team spirit.
