A new year is the perfect excuse to indulge in self-care, and the Chattanooga area is lucky to have a handful of retreats nearby that offer a variety of spa treatments, wellness activities and experiences to help you connect with nature and yourself on a deeper level while taking a step back from the hectic pace of everyday life.

Over 1,000 people came out to Hamilton Place mall to support the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, which provides funds for breast cancer patients and research. Executive Women International hosted its 25th annual auction and biggest fundraiser of the year at the Chattanooga Marriott Downtown.

LaPaz Chattanooga hosted this annual ceremony to celebrate Latino leaders in the community, including the winner of the Latino of the Year award, Paulo Hutson Solórzano, founder of A Medida Communications. Mariachi musicians and dancers performed, and guests posed for pictures at photo booths.

This celebration of art in Chattanooga, hosted by ArtsBuild, honored the recipients of the Ruth Holmberg Arts Leadership Awards.
