NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Nashville Predators have hired a new chief executive officer and chief operating officer in moves designed to help improve and expand the team’s business operations.
Chairman Tom Cigarran announced the hirings Tuesday of Jeff Cogen as the new CEO and Sean Henry as the new president and chief operating officer.
Cogen had been president of the Dallas Stars, while Henry had worked for the Tampa Bay Lightning since 1999. The Stars have ranked in the top 10 in the NHL for attendance consistently, and Cigarran says Cogen is the perfect person to expand the Predators’ reach locally, regionally and nationally.
General manager David Poile, president of hockey operations, will continue reporting to the team’s board of directors.
