Prisoners treated better than soldiers

My son is in the Army Reserve deployed in Afghanistan. I spoke with him after he had been there for two weeks. He asked me to send him a blanket. He was sleeping with no sheets, no pillow and no blanket.

I was enraged that our men and women fighting for our freedom were not even given a pillow to lay their head on when they did have a chance to rest.

I purchased sheets and a pillow and mailed his blanket from home. The bedding they were supposed to have issued to them miraculously appeared a couple of weeks later.

People in prison get treated better than our soldiers do.
