Trayvon Robinson reached base four times and drove in three runs Tuesday night as the Chattanooga Lookouts drubbed Mobile 10-2 at AT&T Field.
The Lookouts snapped a three-game losing streak and improved to 27-31 with 12 games remaining. They trail Tennessee by 10 games in the Southern League’s second-half race, and they are six back of West Tenn in the wild-card race.
Robinson singled to center field to score Elian Herrera in the first inning, and his single to right in the third scored Dee Gordon. He came up a second time in the third inning and drew a bases-loaded walk to give the Lookouts an 8-0 lead, and he wound up improving his batting average to .307.
Chattanooga benefited from four Mobile errors in the first three innings.
Lookouts starting pitcher Rubby De La Rosa did not allow a run through seven innings but allowed singles to the first two batters he faced in the eighth, and each came around to score.
