Calhoun High School senior running back Dustin Christian has committed to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
Christian, who has led the third-ranked Yellow Jackets to a 13-0 record and a spot in the GHSA Class AA semifinals, has rushed for 1,436 yards and 22 touchdowns this season.
“[UTC] was just real close to home and I went up there for a visit and the coaches, they just seemed like family to me,” Christian said Thursday, adding that the Mocs’ recent turnaround was a factor, as well.
