The largest Holiday Market in the nine years Chattanooga Market has sponsored the bazaar will open Saturday with 200 vendors.
Chattanooga Market, the Sunday gathering in First Tennessee Pavilion, expands its market to two days to accommodate this big holiday shopping event.
Melissa Siragusa, market spokeswoman, said the 200 exhibitors will include weekly market favorites as well as new faces.
“We have 300 vendors who cycle in and out depending on weeks they can come. In the last couple of months, our applications for new vendors has quadrupled. We’ve been inundated,” she said.
Among the new vendors at the market will be K Bands, handmade headbands and hair accessories; Carol McCrady Studio, varying mediums of art; La La Designs, fiber arts; Appalachian Creations, birdhouses; and Piggy Tails Boutiques, tutus and fairy wings for preschoolers.
