Art Klee, vice president of engineering at Suburban Manufacturing, has been promoted to president of the business with operations in Dayton, Tenn.
“We’re fortunate to have a 30-year veteran,” Mel Adams, president and CEO of Suburban’s parent company Airxcel Inc., said.
Roger Panoz had announced his retirement after serving as the president since 2002. “At my request,” Mr. Adams said, he stayed an extra year. “We wish him the best, and we’ve seen our best growth years” under his leadership.
The company has served the recreational vehicle industry for more than 40 years as a gas and water heater and cooking appliance supplier. Suburban will soon expand their product line to the hotel/motel and apartment market.
