Jordan Powell, a Texas native who served as the campaign spokesman and day-to-day campaign manager for Chuck Fleischmann, will serve as press secretary for Fleischmann when the Chattanooga Republican is sworn into office on Jan. 5 as the new 3rd District congressman.
Powell is a graduate of Baylor University who previously worked on several campaigns, including Mike Huckabee’s 2008 presidential campaign.
“Jordan has been a tremendous asset to the campaign since he began in August of last year, and I am looking forward to having him with me in Washington, D.C.” Fleischmann said in a prepared statement. “He is hard working, knowledgeable about the issues our country faces and is someone I can rely on to help me clearly communicate my message.”
