Chattanooga businessman Chuck Pruett said Wednesday he has purchased the long-vacant, high-profile Riverview Exxon property on Hixson Pike.
Pruett, who earlier this year sold Greenlife Grocery to Whole Foods, said he bought the building from Mike Crabtree. Pruett said he had no firm plans for the site, but a restaurant could work on the parcel.
Jeff Jennings of NAI Charter Real Estate Corp. handled the sale of the property.
