Things are always buzzing at Sew Bee It in Ringgold, where a 1,300-square-foot quilting artist’s gallery will open in January.
“We’re going to have the first gallery of quilts that Ringgold has ever had,” said owner Gloria Black. “It will be a place to show needle arts in this community, in the North Georgia community.”
Each quilting artist’s work will be on display – one at a time – for a month. The gallery will be open to the community and to groups, and some quilts and wall hangings will be for sale.
Black said she’ll start with her employees’ work and then invite customers to show theirs.
“They’re all artists in their own rite,” she said.
