A 6-year-old boy died this morning as a result of injuries suffered in a head-on collision Thursday night on Dawnville Road in Whitfield County, according to the Georgia Highway Patrol.
The accident happened about 6 p.m. Thursday and injured five others, according to the patrol.
The 6-year-old boy was taken by Life Force to Erlanger hospital, where he later died.
