What should you look for in the weather before heading out for a hike, bike ride or water expedition?
A winter workshop led by WDEF Channel 12 chief meteorologist Patrick Core will give the basics in identifying clouds and predicting weather patterns.
“Watching the Weather,” to be presented at 7 p.m. Thursday, is the first in a series of winter workshops presented by Outdoor Chattanooga. The rest of the series will take place at 6 p.m. Thursdays through March 24 at Outdoor Chattanooga in Coolidge Park.
Workshops will teach outdoor skills and tap into each participant’s inner adventurer. Classes are open to outdoor lovers of all ages.
Parking will be available in the adjacent Chattanooga Theatre Centre parking lot for $1 for two hours, $2 for four hours.
