FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. – Gabriel Field at Fort Campbell will be designated as an official memorial site.
The official designation will be made May 22 in a ceremony on post.
The site is a parade field and memorial site for 33 5th Special Forces Group and one Navy SEAL.
According to The Leaf-Chronicle, the designation will solidify the future of the rather isolated site.
