You’ve worn your white dress and tuxedo; now it’s time to wear your leather, as two area motorcycle dealerships present vow renewal ceremonies Saturday.
The group ceremonies start at 2 p.m. at Thunder Creek Harley-Davidson in Chattanooga and Mountain Creek Harley-Davidson in Dalton, Ga. The event is “for anyone wanting to renew their vows and love of Harley-Davidson before Valentine’s Day,” organizers said in a news release.
Couples can say “I do” again during the outdoor ceremony, and enjoy a cake and other refreshments afterward. During the reception, a raffle will award such prizes as his and her sterling-silver Harley rings.
A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, and Harley-Davidson is turning that moment into one that the couples will remember forever, organizers said.
“Love, leather and Harley — that’s what this event’s all about. We’re prepared to give everyone a good time and an opportunity to renew their wedding vows in a welcoming environment,” said Paul Dwight, Thunder Creek general manager.
“People might not readily associate wedding vows with the Harley-Davidson dealerships, but why not tell the person you love how much they mean to you and share your passion for riding in your leathers and with other Harley bikers?” added Keith Morrison, Mountain Creek general manager.
A photographer will be on hand at both locations to capture the special moments. Individual and group photos will be available for purchase online.
