McMinn County Living Heritage Museum in Athens, Tenn., is honoring first responders in February. During Toddler Time next week, kids will get a chance to see what the fire and police departments do.
On Wednesday, the Athens Fire Department will be special guests. On Thursday, officers with the Athens Police Department will visit.
In addition to meeting the first responders, participants get to explore the museum’s artifacts and take part in a craft project to stimulate their natural curiosity, imagination and creativity.
The one-hour programs start at 10 a.m. at the museum, 522 W. Madison Ave. Kids are free. Accompanying adults (parents, grandparents or friends) pay $5.
