Area residents got a surprise dose of snow on their way to church and lunch today.
The National Weather Service is calling for the rest of the day to have rain showers with a high of about 42.
The rain could change back to snow after 9 p.m. with a low near 29. The Weather Service reports 1 to 3 inches of snow are possible over night, with temperatures Monday continuing to stay in the 20s.
