Long-time state representative Roger Williams, R-Dalton, said he probably will retire when his current term expires in January.
“I’m certainly thinking about it,” Rep. Williams said today. “It’s still up in the air, but that’s my intention.”
He said there is no single reason why he plans to step down, but his eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren have something to do with it. He also said he would lie to spend more time on his farm in Rocky Face.
“There’s other things I like to do that I haven’t been able to do,” he said.
