The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women’s basketball team went on a 21-5 run late in the first half Monday night at McKenzie Arena and leads Davidson 33-17 at the break.
Lady Mocs senior Jenaya Wade-Fray leads all scorers with 13 points and freshman Kylie Lambert has 10. Lambert was 4-for-6 from the field and Wade-Fray was 5-for-10, but they were the only ones on either team shooting a high percentage.
Davidson and UTC were a combined 16-for-58 from the floor. The Lady Mocs’ lead would have been even bigger if they’d shot better than 5-for-15 from the free-throw line.
