A 66-year-old man struck by a vehicle Wednesday while walking on the sidewalk has died from his injuries.
William Moneyham died at Erlanger hospital as a result of injuries he received when struck on a sidewalk near 3908 Fourth Avenue just after 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Calvin Johnson told police he was backing out of his driveway and didn’t see Mr. Moneyham, who was walking north on the sidewalk.
Family members told police that Mr. Moneyham walked frequently and often slouched while doing so. Given the circumstances, police said no charges were expected to be filed.
