East Ridge has been officially chosen for the Dizzy Dean Baseball World Series, to be held in July at Camp Jordan. The announcement was made by Danny Phillips, national commissioner of Dizzy Dean Baseball, Inc.
Dizzy Dean Baseball is a baseball program for all youth, regardless of sex, religion, race or color, ages five through 19. The main purpose of the program is to expand Dizzy Dean Baseball and to provide a recreation outlet for as many youth as possible, with emphasis being on local league play rather than tournament play.
