The Best News and Worst News of the year was simple. Our Soddy-Daisy High School band was selected to march in the Tournament of Roses Parade. The Worst News: NBC didn’t show the band’s performance to those watching for the fruits of the year-long labor. If you were tuned in to the Travel Channel, you saw a polished performance that made our city proud. A group celebration dance was held on the Queen Mary ship before the band’s safe return home.
Father Mike Creson will be honored at a reception Sunday from 2-5 p.m. Parishioners and friends are invited to Holy Spirit Catholic Church for the event.
May your 2010 be the best yet with all your resolutions being met.
