We shouldn’t need resource officers
Whether or not an officer at a school should have a Taser gun, we should not have to have resource officers in schools to begin with.
Why have we let students become the decision-makers? We need to go back to the good ole’ days when students were suspended if they did not abide by the rules and expelled indefinitely after a specified number of suspensions. Also, while on suspension or if expelled, students should not be allowed on school property for any reason. You may say this is what students want, but they will learn later in life how important school and discipline are.
I think it’s a shame that my tax dollars have to pay for a resource officer because parents don’t teach their kids how to behave.

Census should not count illegal aliens
Words cannot express our outrage over the idea that Hispanic advocacy groups are openly pushing for illegal aliens’ inclusion in the 2010 census in order to acquire federal (taxpayer) dollars for “community services.”
Moreover, the insolent dishonesty of those who adhere to an open-borders and or equality religion is nothing more than intellectual collapse and juvenile ethics.
Third World immigration is wrecking this country with crime, overcrowding, disease, lower wages, the closing of hospitals and lower academic standards.
Likewise, it’s too bad charitable resources have not addressed an Aug. 14, 2008, New York Times report which says in part: “White people of European descent will no longer make up a majority of the U.S. population by the year 2042 – eight years sooner than previous estimates…. Immigration and higher birth rates among Hispanics are accelerating the demographic changes.”
We know that no race or ethnicity has a monopoly on either virtue or vice, but this does not mean they are interchangeable.

President Obama supersedes Carter
I used to think Jimmy Carter was our worst president, but now Obama takes his place.
