Photos are needed for names on Wall
The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (The Wall) is in the process of building an education center near “The Wall” and needs photos of all 58,000-plus names on the Memorial.
When the Education Center opens, each name and photo will be featured on their birthday. The pictures will also be on The Virtual Wall, the Web site for “The Wall.”
I’ve taken a list of names from Tennessee, researched which county each young soldier was from, made a list from each county and asked for help.
If you have a photo of anyone from “The Wall” please send a copy. If you know someone who has a copy send me contact information or ask them to contact me: Faces With Names, P.O. Box 226, White Bluff TN 37187. Or e-mail a copy to kingfieldpoet@yahoo.com.
Our lists are for Tennessee names, but if you live in a neighboring county to Tennessee or if your family moved here after the Vietnam War, please send those photos and I’ll be glad to include them.
We want to retain copies at the state level. By collecting and sending them in as a group, each name will be accounted for.
The state copies will be donated to the Tennessee Library and Archives.

Aid a great help for dog sanctuary
All the volunteers at Paws of Love Dog Sanctuary thank all the wonderful animal lovers who donated food and money at Christmas. We appreciate the generosity of everyone and the help of Linda Weaver, Times Free Press. We could not run the shelter without people like all of you.
We also thank all of the veterinarians in Marion County who let us put up donation boxes in their offices. Their kindness was appreciated.
