OOLTEWAH: Restaurants eyeing property

Workers moved the job trailer from behind the Midnite Oil service station at Ooltewah Springs. Word is that several restaurants are looking at the site now. Hopefully, we’ll have some new restaurants built or in progress when the Interstate 75 construction is done this summer.

And congratulations to Joan Nash, who retired at the end of last month. She was a fixture in the North Chattanooga area, being one of the owners of Bone Appetit Bakery on Frazier Avenue. Now she’s home here in Ooltewah.

Happy birthday to my wife Barbara. Her birthday was Wednesday and if I told everyone how old she is, I’d be living outside of the house. And there is no television out there.
