Fasten your seat belts, Chattanooga, you’re in for a roller-coaster weather ride.
With temperatures in the past week plunging from the balmy 50s to the almost-frigid 30s, dressing for the weather has become a mixture of art, skill and a little planning.
Chris Humble, a 49-year-old Chattanooga resident, said his preparations for the seesaw of weather conditions lately have included a daily check of the temperature on the morning news.
But the day-to-day whims of the weather bring more issues than just deciding if a jacket and gloves are needed to stay warm.
“It’s really hard on your skin, and it’s hard if you get a cold — it just never seems to go away,” Mr. Humble said.
