I know it’s the middle of July, and probably the last thing you have on your mind is Thanksgiving and Christmas. But in your downtime this summer, how about sending me your favorite holiday recipes? I can hardly believe it’s time to begin, but it takes quite a while to collect them and get them typed in. I’ll be looking for favorites among five categories:

* Breads.
