ST. ELMO: Talent Show set for Saturday at Incline

The Summer Of Fun Concert Series at the Incline Railway's lower plaza will feature a Talent Show on Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. It's free.

New Voices Poetry Reading returns to Pashas Coffee and Tea Saturday from 6-8:30 p.m. Enjoy readings by local writers and intermission music by Dr. Jim Woodford and friends.

After poetry, walk over to the Moccasin Bend Brewery for local brews and live music from Dave Dykes and The Grateful Hearts beginning at 8:30 p.m.

On Monday at Pashas, Lon Eldridge is in concert, recording a live album featuring Nick Lutsco, Addison Perkins and Joey Winslet. The show runs from 6:30-9 p.m. and is free.

On Saturday, July 24, the Summer of Fun Concert Series at the Incline is a Tiki Hut Beach Party from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. featuring Lumbar 5.

Mark your calendars for the next Sundown In St. Elmo, taking place throughout the revitalized business district on Saturday, Aug. 7 from 6-9 p.m. There will be open house receptions, prizes, music, art and more.

Asher Love Studio and Gallery features original art by street artist, Sour One, who designed the graffiti art show painted directly onto the walls and surfaces of the gallery. Additional works on canvas, board, signs and other found materials and objects are also a part of the site-specific installation, which intends to bring the outside indoors.

The Tennessee Bouldering Authority's Ante-Up Camp Series takes place on Wednesdays from 6-9 p.m. The series is a weekly training competition from May to August and features four categories and the top 5 boulder problems. Call 423-822-6800.
