Something squirrelly’s going on Saturday at the Creative Discovery Museum.

It’s “Animalympics,” a puppet show that reveals what would happen if animals held their own Olympic games.

“This is not a variety show. This is a hand puppet and hand-and-rod puppet show that has a character education theme,” said Peter Hart of Atlanta Puppet, master puppeteer who will present the show.

“It’s a hilarious show with a gentle message,” he said of his original production, which was created for the Olympic Village at the 1996 Olympic games in Atlanta.
