Why target just current attorney?
This is my view regarding the matters involving the city attorney’s office.
In raising a question about whether city taxpayers have been overpaying the city attorney’s office for the past four to five decades, the state office chose to tar Mike McMahan, our current city attorney. What grievous wrong!
Mr. McMahan had an unblemished reputation among his peers for integrity, scholarship and professionalism. Gratuitously targeting the ethics of this gentleman is indeed a terrible mistake.
