Bulldog rescue network

Beth and Toby McKenzie have always loved English bulldogs, but they never dreamed they'd be taking care of four as part of a bulldog rescue network. The McKenzies became bulldog rescuers just a couple months ago and have already found homes for four. Now they have four more. One is 3 years old, two are 4 years old and one is 5.

"They are so goofy, sweet, loving and the silliest dogs in the world," Mrs. McKenzie said. "I adore them."

She admits, though, the dogs are expensive to maintain and are time-consuming.

"You've got to clean their wrinkles every week, and they have all kinds of allergies," she said. "They really are high maintenance, but they're worth every bit of trouble."

Chattanooga Bulldog Rescue serves Tennessee, Alabama and North Georgia. If you're interested in adopting a bulldog from the McKenzies, log onto www.chattanoogabulldogrescue.org.
