The City of Rossville and the Walker County Teen Center are partnering to offer a youth karate program for ages 8-18.
The Rossville Teen Enrichment Karate Program will be offered on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Fitness Room of the Rossville Athletic Center.
The Teen Center will begin taking applications for the program on Thursday. Veteran martial arts instructor Donnie Lynch will teach classes from August 2010 through June 2011.
The Walker County Teen Center and Georgia Office of Adolescent Health are funding the karate program.
