A man mowing his lawn suffered severe head trauma after his mower was struck by a vehicle, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
Mower rider John Weaver, 41, was taken to Erlanger hospital, said Janice Atkinson, a spokeswoman for the sheriff’s office.
Mr. Weaver was turning his mower around outside his home on Reavley Road when he was struck by a Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by 72-year-old Frankie Trantham, Ms. Atkinson said.
Mr. Trantham was traveling east and didn’t see Mr. Weaver because of a blind hill, police said.
The investigation is ongoing, Ms. Atkinson said.
