Ex-Moc Cooper released

Former University of Tennessee at Chattanooga wide receiver said late Thursday that he was waived by the Philadelphia Eagles after working out in their rookie training camp for the past two days.

“Had 2 good days of rookie camp,” Cooper posted. “Got released today by a great program! One of the best receiving cores in the league! But I ain’t done yet!”

According the NFL.com, Cooper was let go to make room for the Eagles’ first-round draft pick, defensive end Brandon Graham from Michigan, who signed a five-year contract Thursday.

Philadelphia opens its full training camp today.
