Detectives with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office found a methamphetamine lab inside a residence early Friday morning, according to a news release.
Members of the Sheriff’s Narcotics and Special Operations Division went to serve a search warrant at 5240 Austin Drive, where they found the lab, said Janice Atkinson, Public Information Officer with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
Holland McDowell, 44, and Ricky Rounsaville, 51, were arrested at the scene. Both were charged with criminal conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of controlled substance. They’ve been booked in the Hamilton County Jail. A $75,000 bond was set for McDowell and a $45,000 was set for Rounsaville.
Officers requested a cleanup truck from an area environmental company to pick up and dispose of the chemicals used in the lab, Atkinson said.
