Tips for making Riverbend visits more comfortable

Planning a night at Riverbend this week? Check these ideas before you leave home.

* Say ‘I Do’ at The Strut: Lindsay Street Music Hall will host “Vows and Vow Renewals” Monday from 5 p.m. to midnight at the hall, 901 Lindsay St., corner of Lindsay and M.L. King, during the Bessie Smith Strut.

Strutters wishing to get married or to renew their wedding vows can stop by. Dr. Mark Sandilands, who performs wedding ceremonies at the Hamilton County Courthouse, will be on-site to handle the nuptials.

Dr. Sandilands will continue to perform wedding ceremonies at Lindsay Street Hall throughout the weekdays.

* Potty Passes at the Strut: In addition, Lindsay Street Hall is offering a $5 Potty Pass, which gives the holder use of its clean, air-conditioned bathroom, the chance to hear live music and is good all day.
