Walmart finishes renovation

The Brainerd Walmart will celebrate the completion of its three-month renovation with Mayor Ron Littlefield at a ribbon cutting today at 8 a.m.

The redesign features a new layout, wider aisles, lower shelves, brighter lighting and additional signs to make it easier for customers to find what they want, according to store manager Allen Curtis.

“We listened to our customers and have redesigned the store to make shopping at Walmart even easier,” said Mr. Curtis. “The new layout is easier to navigate, which will save our customers time as they shop for necessities.”

The remodeling project also features an expanded electronics department that has new interactive displays.
