“Nature’s Masterpieces” is the theme of this year’s Tennessee Federation of Garden Clubs’ District III Standard Flower Show, to be held Tuesday and Wednesday at the Museum Center at Five Points in Cleveland.
Among the local garden clubs participating are the Hickory Valley and Crestwood garden clubs of Chattanooga; the Garden Club of Signal Mountain; Magnolia, Aldersgate and Ocoee garden clubs of the Cleveland area; and the Sunset and Dayton garden clubs of Dayton.
In all, more than 400 members from 12 clubs will be represented. The show will consist of three judging divisions: horticulture, floral design and youth. All entries will be available for viewing.
In addition to providing the theme of the show, “Nature’s Masterpieces” is a nod to local artists. Members of the Mountain Art Guild will have their work exhibited alongside the floral displays of the garden clubs.
Show hours are 1-5 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday. Admission is free. The museum is at 200 Inman St., East.
