On Saturday, March 13, the Museum Center at Five Points will host a hand appliqué class led by Margaret McLaughlin from 10 a.m. to noon. Participants will receive hands-on experience with creating professional looking curves and points for appliqué.
Reservations for this class are required by Tuesday. The cost is $10 for museum members and $12 for non-museum members. To sign up, call the Museum Center at 423-339-5745.
The program is held in conjunction with the museum’s current quilt exhibit, “Stitches-In-Time.” The exhibit has more than 80 regional contemporary and antique quilts in a judged exhibit on display through March 13.
