The first Easter egg hunt of the season comes from an age group not normally associated with such activities. Regardless, Alexian Brothers Seniors Neighbors will sponsor a senior Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Community Center at 190 Depot St. in Soddy-Daisy.
Goodies await the person who finds the most eggs and the golden prize egg. “It’s a nice surprise,” promises Soddy-Daisy program director Cathy Neely.
Though a little unorthodox, the egg hunt is “a way of inviting people to take part in what we do,” she said.
The Soddy-Daisy center is open 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. The number is 332-1702. For information on any Senior Neighbors event, call 755-6100.
