You can grown them regardless of whether you live in a high rise or on a farm, said Tim Holcomb, owner of Holcomb’s Garden Center in Hixson and Fort Oglethorpe, Ga.
“We sell about 20 varieties of tomatoes including several varieties of Heirlooms, the same plant your grandparents grew,” Mr. Holcomb said.
Many people aren’t aware of the range of tomatoes that will grow here.
“Most people like what they grew up eating,” he said “They’ll come in looking for their favorite and are surprised to see the varieties.”
