Man, boys found dead in North Georgia home

JEFFERSON, Ga. -- Authorities in Jackson County are investigating the shooting deaths of a 36-year-old man, his son and his girlfriend's other son, and the county's chief deputy sheriff said the killings appeared to be murder-suicide.

The bodies of Keith Gresham, his 4-year-old son, Keionte Gresham and Keionte's half brother, 7-year-old Keion Gresham, were found Monday afternoon in Gresham's rural home, chief deputy David Cochran said Tuesday.

Cochran said the children's mother, who lives in another county, had let Gresham have the children for the weekend.

"Family members started receiving text messages from him Monday morning saying he might harm himself," Cochran said.
