You are cordially invited to attend the North Brainerd Neighborhood Association community meeting on Monday at Dalewood Middle School starting at 6 p.m. Several guests are scheduled to attend: District 9 City Councilman Peter Murphy, District 5 City Councilman Russell Gilbert, and Lt. Edwin McPherson, with the special investigations unit of the Chattanooga Police Department. They will discuss community safety issues, economic business and community land-use development plans, city budgets and funding the next police academy.
Also attending will be Ty Armour, neighborhood relations specialist with the city’s Department of Neighborhood Services. Mr. Armour has been assigned to work with the various associations and residents in the North Brainerd area. He may be reached at 423-425-3700. The meeting is open to the public.
