East Ridge Revitalization will be planting rose bushes at Exit 1 (weather permitting) on Saturday at 9 a.m. They need several volunteers to come and help, and the more we have the quicker the planting will be finished. Also, please bring shovels and jugs filled with water. They have plenty of newspapers (everyone did a great job getting those together).
The area we are going to plant is at the entrance to Interstate 75 north coming from Frawley Road. Parking will be along the side of the road next to where we are working (look for the orange cones). The City of East Ridge is providing a designated parking area.
