A summer class beginning June 8 in Dalton offers Georgia’s 30/6 Driver Education Program.

To enroll, each student must already hold a valid learner’s permit, and parents or guardians are urged to begin working with their teen driver before the course begins. Successful completion of the Joshua’s Law Driver Education Program could mean a rate discount on insurance, as well as a possible $150 tax credit.
North Georgia Safety Training & Disaster Services Inc. now is licensed by the state to provide the 30/6 Driver Education Program. Driving trainers are licensed and are certified law enforcement officers with local agencies.
